As children of God we have the blessing and privilege of walking in the wisdom of God.  Wisdom is the ability to apply the knowledge of God to a situation to solve a problem or create a solution.  Every one of us has experienced the same insight that wisdom gives us but it probably was after the fact.  Have you ever done something and then in hindsight say to yourself, “I’ll never do it that way again” or “next time I will know exactly what to do”?  All of that was insight after the fact.  God’s wisdom is knowing the right thing to do before the fact.  My favorite definition of the wisdom of God is “insight that turns hindsight into foresight.”  Thank God Jesus is made unto us wisdom from God (1 Corinthians 1:30) and it is ours for the asking (James 1:5).
