As Believers we should not be alarmed, surprised, or think that it’s a strange thing when we face trials. Jesus said life on earth would be with tribulations John 16:33. The good news is that He has overcome the world and deposited His victory into our spiritual account so that we can be of good cheer.
I believe the greatest warfare we as believers face in these perilous times is to maintain the joy of the Lord.
A vital key to keeping our joy full is in learning to answer problems with faith filled words. Proverbs 15:23 tells us that "a man hath joy by the answer of his mouth." How our faith speaks in response to problems has a great influence on the joy we experience.
You may ask, “how do I get that kind of faith?” You already have it if you are a Christian, but you have to feed on the Word of God to stay built up in it Romans 12:3.
My suggestion to you to get more joy flowing in your life is to feed on the Word of God like Jeremiah did in Jeremiah 15:16, “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.” Then, begin to answer the problem issues of life with the joy and rejoicing that comes from His Word.
The joy of the Lord is your strength!
